Abigail Stancheva

Graduate Research Assistant

Abigail Stancheva is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Psychological Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is extremely passionate about reducing stigma around mental health, as well as improving education and accessibility to treatment for individuals who struggle with substance use disorders in underserved communities. Abigail has previous research experience working in the field of substance use treatment and prevention across multi-site clinical trials at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. After completing her Master's degree, she hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
