Mary Kleinman, MPH
Clinical Psychology PhD Student

Mary Kleinman is a doctoral student in the University of Maryland Clinical Psychology program. Her research interests include behavioral interventions for substance use and the intersection of mental health and infectious disease prevention and treatment. Mary previously worked as an epidemiologist at Maryland Department of Health where she monitored community-based programs to test and treat hepatitis C. She has also worked internationally on research investigating social and biological determinants of tuberculosis treatment outcomes, including the effect of alcohol use on TB treatment outcomes in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
